	Sometimes St Paul’s arranges for special guest to visit the children.
	EXCURSIONS AND VISITORS As we aim to provide a home like environment, we place a great emphasis on encouraging our children to go on excursions into our wider environment. This takes a lot of organisation and planning. We also invite people into our centre. Excursions and visitors to our centre provide many learning and enjoyable experiences. These experiences are a positive way for your children to learn about our outside world. Occasionally we plan an outing that involves the whole centre, if you prefer that your child does not join us in this outing it is expected that you will find alternative care for this day. Some visitors and excursions are free, others we need to charge to cover our costs. Parents will be informed of such activities. Please check the foyer for up and coming shows. Costs will be placed on your child care fees account. If we are leaving the centre you will be required to fill in a permission form. No child will be allowed to leave the centre unless this is returned. To make our excursions a success and for the adult child ratio we rely heavily on the ability of our parents and/or friends and relatives to join us to ensure that the safety of all children is maintained. Dancealong A qualified instructor runs this program. Classes are run each week at an additional cost. This program is available to your child upon completion of a Dancealong enrolment form. You child can learn to dance…and have fun! Dancealong: Ø Promotes a sense of rhythm; Ø Helps develop gross and fine motor skills and coordination; Ø Fosters self-awareness, self confidence, and social skills; Ø Increases fitness and muscle tone; and Ø Nurtures your child’s natural love of movement and music.
