Special Occasions
	Birthdays, Festivals, and Special Occasions.
	All children become excited about celebrating their birthday, as it is their special day. We like to celebrate your child's birthday with their friends at the centre. You could help us do this by providing a simple cake (not too creamy). If you would like to join us for this special occasion, speak to the staff and organise a time that is appropriate for everyone. As we are a Christian centre Pastor comes and speaks to the children briefly on the meaning of common festivals including Christmas and Easter. Pastor also visits us regularly throughout the year, usually weekly. We aim to encourage children to care for their friends, respect for one another and consider the feelings of others. All art activities regarding these occasions are designed for creativity and are process orientated.
